Women's golf seventh at MAC Championships

WHITE HAVEN, Pa. - The Hood College women's golf team placed seventh at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Mountain Laurel Golf Club. 

On the Scorecards

  • Jenna Frick shaved a stroke off of her round one score to shoot a 94 on the final day to finish at 189 in 23rd place on the par-72 course.
  • Brielle Rozmus shot a career-best 107 for a 36-hole 217 to take 33rd place. 
  • Talia Wade shot a second-day round of 116 for a two-day 235 and was 38th. It was a season-best score both days for Wade.
  • Meghan Moir, playing in her first career tournament, had a 36-stroke improvement over her first round with a 153 to finish in 41st with a total of 342. 

Leaderboard

  • Hood shot a 470 on the final day for a seventh-place team score of 983. A total of 12 programs in the MAC sponsor women's golf. 
  • Stevenson won the MAC title with two-day 634. The Mustangs' Julia Kline and Amanda Perez finished tied with 36-hole scores of 155m with Kline winning the tournament in a playoff.
