GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's basketball team fell to Messiah in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play with a final score of 95-43.

• The Falcons came out on fire and shot 61 percent (11-of-18) in the first quarter to take a 31-8 lead.
• Messiah shot nearly 70 percent in the second quarter to build a 55-20 lead.
• Keeney led the way for Hood with nine points in the first half.
• The Falcons continued to extend their lead throughout the second half.

• Messiah's Leah Springer led the team with 22 points while Jayneisha Davis scored all 17 of her points in the first half of play. Megan Zimmerman added 15 and Eleana Eckley netted 11.
• The Falcons shot 64 percent in the contest (34-of-57) and 59 percent from 3-point range (10-of-17).
