FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's basketball team had its highest-scoring night in 12 years in a 111-62 win over Stevenson in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

- The first half featured three runs to start the game, including a pair of massive runs by the Blazers to take control of the contest.
- Hood opened the game with a 24-9 run, including seven points from Riley, over the opening five minutes and 33 seconds of action.
- Five different players scored for the Mustangs in a 12-3 run that followed and cut the Blazers' lead to just 27-21 on a Isaiah Oshinnaiye layup with 10:39 left in the first half.
- Kobe Butler found Mason Wang for an open 3-pointer 18 seconds later to stop the Stevenson run and started a 23-8 effort for Hood to close the half. The Wang brothers combined for 17 points during the run as the Blazers shot 56 down the stretch while holding the Mustangs to 4-of-12 with seven turnovers.
- Hood led 50-29 at halftime and kept up the momentum in the second half. The Blazers opened the second half 8-for-12 to spark a 25-6 run as Hood took a 75-35 lead on a Mason Wang layup with 14:32 left.
- In all, 11 players scored for Hood as the bench combined for 31 points.
Notes
- Hood limited Stevenson's leading scorer Norman Hughes to just 2-of-13 shooting and 10 points. Mikey Parker led the Mustangs with 14 points. Cam Harris went 4-of-6 from 3-point range and had 12 points. Mark Terrell also had 12 points.
- The Blazers improved to 11-6 and 4-4. Stevenson slipped to 5-12 and 2-6.
- The 111 points by Hood rank third in school history and the most since a school-record 124 against Gallaudet in February 2008.
