OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Hood College men's swimming team defeated Stevenson 129-50 and Goucher 141-38 in a tri-meet hosted by the Mustangs. 

Winner

• Hazen Stowell earned two wins for the Blazers. Stowell placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.88 and in the 500 free in 5:16.25. 
• Ethan Hubble notched a win with a time of 11:27.17 in the 1,000 free. Hubble finished second in the 100-yard butterfly in 58.20. 
• Patrick Krol won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.22. He was third in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:15.04.
• Russell Odor placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.16. Odor also had a pair of second place finishes and placed third in the 50 free.
• The 200 free relay team of Hubble, Stowell, Brooks Anderson and Storm Fuller claimed first in 1:34.65.
• The 200-yard medley relay team of Fuller, Andrew Bezmen, Jalen Chance and Odor took first in 1:45.66.

Seconds

• Fuller was second in the 100-yard freestyle in 50.51. He also had a third-place finish with a 2:11.91 in the 200 IM. 
• Anderson claimed second in the 50 free in 23.09 and in the 500 free in 5:43.79.
• Chance was second in the 200 IM in 2:09.20 and third in the 100 free in 52.36.
• Justin Pettiford placed second in the 100 back in 1:11.37.
• Ike Brittingham was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.89.
• The 200 medley relay team of Krol, Brittingham, Hank Machen and Pettiford placed second.

Thirds

• Bezmen was third in the 100-yard breast in 1:07.93 and in the 200 free in 2:04.18 for a personal best time
• Machen earned a top-three finish in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.86.
• The quartet of Pettiford, Brittingham, Machen and Julian Urban placed third in the 200 free relay in 1:48.79.

Notes

• Hood is now 2-1 on the season.
• Seven Blazers earned personal best times during the tri-meet.
