Men's soccer blanks Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The Hood College men's soccer traveled to Centenary University to take on the Cyclones and walked away with a 2-0 win for the second consecutive shutout. 

Inside the Box Score How It Happened
  • The Blazers wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as Hammer netted the first goal of the game 17 minutes into the half to take the early 1-0 lead over the Cyclones.
  • The second goal of the game came with five minutes left before the final buzzer when Hagen found Poisal in the box who gave the Blazers' second goal to secure the 2-0 victory. 
Analysis 
  • Hood had the advantage over Centenary in shots 12-11.
  • The Cyclones had 13 corner kicks, compared to three for the Blazers.
