SELINSGROVE, Pa. - A trio of Blazers qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships to highlight the women's track and field team's performance at the Susquehanna Multi & Invitational at Susquehanna University.
On the Track
- Shania Mason ran a time of 8.43 in the 60-meter dash to place 13th. This time secured a spot in the MAC Indoor Championships in the event. The first-year also took seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.75 seconds.
- Karina Turner placed 11th in the mile run with a time of 6:19:89.
In the Field
- Tay Zechman threw the weight 11.65 meters (30-2) to place 11 th and qualify for MAC Championships. She was 18th in the shot put with a throw of 9.20 meters (30-2). Both throws landed Zechman in Hood College's top five lists for both events, third, in the weight throw and fifth in the shot put.
- Chloe McQuillen placed tenth in the high jump with a height at 1.41 meters (4-7 1/2). This jump also helped the junior find her way into the MAC Indoor Championships. This moved her into third all-time at Hood.
