READING, Pa. - Hood College's Jamel Mins timed a career best in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash to pace the Blazers at the Alvernia Winter Invitational. 

Highlights 

• Mins ran a time of 7.36 in the 60, placing 13th. The time made the first-year the third-fastest Blazer in the event in Hood College history. Mins was not finished; he also scored a time of 23.70 in the 200, placing tenth. This time also gave Mins the fourth-fastest time in school history for the Blazers' track and field team.  
• The 4x200-meter relay team of Evan Ellington, Mins, Arnold Nguele and Ryan Leonardi placed sixth with a time of 1:40:21.
