STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Hood College's Jamel Mins and Evan Ellington both recorded personal bests, leading the men's track and field team at the Fastrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility in Staten Island, N.Y.

Highlights 

• Mins recorded a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.00, placing 38th in a field of 138 runners. 
• Ellington ran a time of 7.35 in the 60-meter dash, placing 20th out of 80 competitors. The time was a career best for the senior.
