VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Hood College's
Jamel Mins and
Evan Ellington both recorded personal bests, highlighting the men's track and field team at the Richard Drake Invitational at Virginia Wesleyan University.
Highlights
- Mins ran a time of 7.28 in the 60-meter dash, placing 21st. The time moved the first-year to the third-fastest Blazer in the event in Hood College history. Mins would also record a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a 23.12, placing 16th. This time bolstered Mins into the second best in the event in Hood College history.
- Ellington recorded a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.67, placing 30th. Ellington's time moved the senior into fifth all time in Hood College history in the event.
