FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team fell to the visiting Saints of Marymount with a final score of 13-10 after a four-goal run in the third and fourth quarters. 

Inside the Box Score  

• Rebecca Turner, Jess Lyons, Kayla Juralewicz and Abby Burnette scored two goals apiece. Turner added a pair of assists.  
• Laura Skorobatsch added eight draw controls and a goal. 
• Savannah Thomas finished with three cause turnovers and three ground balls. 
• Sophia Vilaca made five saves in goal. 

How it Happened 

• The Saints took a 1-0 advantage in the first 16 seconds into the game when Kaleigh Dunham found the back of the net. 
• At 10:13, Lyons put the Blazers on the scoreboard to tie the contest 1-1. 
• Just over a minute later, a free position goal by Turner was able to push the Blazers ahead 2-1 with 9:55 remaining in the quarter. 
• Marymount's Riley Love answered back with a goal of her own off an assist from Emily Peters to even the score again with 9:25 left in the first quarter. Hood outscored the Saints 3-2 to end the quarter with the one goal advantage 5-4. Burnette scored a pair of goals in the run and Turner netted her second goal of the game. 
• Mackenzie Demaio started a 3-1 Blazer run to start the second quarter to extend the lead to 6-4 with 12:58 remaining in the second.  
• The Saints answered with a free position goal by Emily Peters 38 seconds after the Demaio tally. 
• The Blazers recorded back-to-back goals with goals from Juralewicz and Lyons to hold a 8-5 advantage with 11:50 left in the period. 
• At 4:33 remaining, a goal by Ella Baker was able to cut the deficit to two to make the score 8-6 to head into halftime. 
• Marymount went on a three-goal run to start the third quarter to take a 9-8 lead with 7:18 left in the third. 
• Skorobartsch and Juralewicz scored one goal each three minutes apart to give the Blazers a 10-9 lead with 3:24 remaining in the quarter. 
• With 32 seconds left in the third, Marymount dashed the Blazers' hopes with a pair of last-minute goals from Sarah Agrillo and Meagan Edens to end the quarter with an 11-10 advantage. 
• The Saints held Hood scoreless in the fourth, adding a pair of goals from Taylor Young to secure the 13-10 win. 

Analysis 

• Hood held a 40-26 advantage in shots and 24-17 in ground balls. 
• The Blazers successfully cleared the ball 15 out of 18 times.  
• Marymount edged Hood 15-11 in draw controls. 

• Dunham led the Saints attack with four goals. 
• Three players scored two goals apiece. Riley Love and Sarah Agrillo each had two goals. Agrillo added an assist.  
• Taylor Young also scored twice and added a pair of draw controls and an assist. 
• Megan Edens finished with five draw controls. 
• Mariel Russ made 15 saves in goal and collected a team-high seven ground balls.
