Eastern 7, Hood 3
- The Eagles started quickly, scoring five runs in the first inning in game one. Susana Perez and Kelci Cost reached via a hit and a walk to start the game. With one out, Jania Long hit into a fielder's choice but the throw to second got away, allowing Perez to come home. A wild pitch moved the runners into scoring position, and everyone was safe on a fielder's choice off the bat of Kacie Noonan, including Cost, who scored to make it 2-0.
- Tori Hook followed and hit a three-run home run to center field, stretching the lead to five runs.
- Hood loaded the bases in the bottom of the second when Gottleib singled, Hetzel was hit by a pitch and Jordan Long walked. Blasko got the Blazers on the scoreboard with a one-out base hit to left to knock in Gottleib. Hood could not get closer as Long struck out Davidson and got McIntosh to ground out end the inning.
- Pfleiger homered to left in the Hood half of the third. Barthlow, who singled to lead off the inning, also scored as the Blazers pulled within 5-3. Gottleib then singled but was erased on a double play grounder off the bat of Mallorie Hetzel.
- Hook added a two-run double in the fifth to put the game away for Eastern. Cost and Sammie Britton had back-to-back singles to start the inning and scored on the play.
Eastern 5, Hood 3
- Pfleiger hit her second homer of the day after Walters led off the first inning with a single to give Hood a 2-0 lead in game two.
- The lead stood until the Eagles tied the game in the fourth inning. Hook singled with one out and moved to third on a base hit by Noonan. A sacrifice fly by Meghan Johnson cut Hood's lead to 2-1. Noonan moved to third on a wild pitch and Elena Iannuzzel hit a bloop single between the pitcher and second base, tying the game at 2-2.
- Hook continued to give Hood problems, knocking in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth. The Eagles stretched the lead to 5-2 in the sixth when Johnson and Iannuzzel singled and later scored on a pair of ground balls.
- Barthlow homered to center to lead off the bottom of the sixth. Pfleiger walked but was out on a fielder's choice before a two-base hit by Hetzel put runners on second and third. Hailey Krichten came on in relief as the third pitcher of the game for Eastern and forced back-to-back flyouts to end the threat.
- Hood had its chance in the seventh when Blasko singled and Davidson walked, turning over the lineup with no one out. Krichten worked out of the jam with three straight pop ups to retire the side.
