McQuillen and Mason highlight women's track and field on day two at Towson Invitational

TOWSON, Md. - Chloe McQuillen and Shania Mason highlighted the Hood College women's track and field team on day two of the Towson Invitational.

On the Track

Mason ran a career best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.32 seconds. The time puts her at fifth all-time in Hood College history in the event. Mason was fourth among Division III runners and 39th overall.

In the Field

McQuillen jumped 1.50 meters (4-11) in the high jump. She was fourth among all Division III participants and 18th overall. The other 17 jumpers ahead of McQuillen were all from Division I track and field programs.
