SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Hood College's Chris Burgenson (Middletown, MD/Middletown) placed second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the SRU Open hosted by Slippery Rock University.  
 
Highlights  

• Burgenson recorded a time of 10:23.27 in the steeplechase, competing for the first time this season.

Note

• The graduate student was the only Blazer in action at Slippery Rock.
