SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Hood College's men's track and field team recorded six personal bests at the Paul Kaiser Classic, hosted by Shippensburg University.
On the TrackÂ
- Arnold Nguele (Upper Marlboro, MD/Wise) posted personal-best times in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. In the 100, he ran a time of 12.48 seconds, and in the 200 clocked a time of 25.20 seconds. Â
- Grayson Whitesell (Myersville, MD/Middletown) recorded a personal best in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:01.22.
In the FieldÂ
- Jaivean Blair (Washington, D.C./Laurel) made personal bests in the hammer throw, and shot put. He marked 9.40 meters (30-10) in the shot, and 26.34 meters (86-5) in the hammer.
- Jio Bah (Hagerstown, MD/North Hagerstown) threw the discus 24.67 meters (80-11), this was a personal best for the first-year student.Â
