SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Tay Zechman (Lebanon, PA/Lebanon) notched a career best in the hammer throw to lead the Hood College women's track and field team at the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg University.

In the Field  

• Zechman's best throw was a mark of 37.80 meters (124-0). This moves the sophomore up to second all-time in Blazers' history in the event.

On the Track  

• Shayna Hancock (Indian Head, MD/North Point) ran a personal-best time of 1:05.33 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles.
• Adalie Heller (Germantown, MD/Northwest) recorded a time of 1:08.48 seconds in the 400-meter dash, which was a personal best for the first-year.
