CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -
Evan Ellington (Laurel, MD/St. Vincent Pallotti) won his heat in the preliminary round of the 100-meter dash, qualifying for tomorrow's final, to lead the men's track and field team on day two at the MAC Championships hosted by DeSales University.
Moving on to the Finals
- Ellington qualified for the 100-meter dash final on Saturday, after finishing fifth in the preliminaries with a time of 11.23 seconds. The senior also competed in the 200-meter dash and finished with a time of 23.42 seconds, placing 13th.Â
On the TrackÂ
- Chris Burgenson (Middletown, MD/Middletown) competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase, running a time of 10:14.68 and placing 10th.
Team Scoring
- Hood is tied for 13th place.Â
- Messiah leads the meet with 57 points.Â
