Chloe McQuillen (Ijamsville, MD/Urbana) and
Shayna Hancock (Indian Head, MD/North Point) were both key performers for the women's track and field team on day two of the MAC Championships hosted by DeSales University.
In the Field
- Chloe McQuillen (Ijamsville, MD/Urbana) completed the final three second-day events in the heptathlon. The junior finished with 2464 points in all seven events, and finished in 11th place for the event. Her highest score came in the 800-meter run, with a time of 2:52.25 for 440 points. She jumped 4.06 meters (13-3) in the long jump for 322 points. She scratched three times in the javelin throw, recording a no mark. McQuillen's 2464 points put her fifth all time in Hood College history in the heptathlon.
On the Track
- Shayna Hancock (Indian Head, MD/North Point) recorded a career best in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:13.60, placing 11th.
- Ros Taylor (Waldorf, MD/Thomas Stone) also competed in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:16.04, placing 20th.
- Shania Mason (San Antonio, TX/William J. Brennan) competed in two events in the 100 meter dash, and the 200 meter dash. The first-year student ran the 100 in 13.69 seconds, placing 20th. She placed 22nd in the 200 with a time of 28.72 seconds.

- The Blazers are tied for 13th place.
- Misericordia leads the team standings with 63 points.
