Zechman third in the javelin at the MAC Championships

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Tay Zechman (Lebanon, PA/Lebanon) finished third in the javelin to lead the women's track and field team on the final day at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at DeSales University.

In the Field

Zechman threw the javelin 32.76 meters (107-6) to score six points for the Blazers.

On the Track

The 4x400-meter relay team of Shania Mason (San Antonio, TX/William J. Brennan), Adalie Heller (Germantown, MD/Northwest), Gloria Castillo (Puerto Cortes, Honduras/Meade (MD.)), and Shayna Hancock (Indian Head, MD/North Point) ran a time of 4:41.35, placing 15th.
