Men’s Swimming swept in season opener

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College Men's Swimming team fell in a tri-meet against Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opponents Widener and Messiah.

Widener defeated Hood 180-74. 

Messiah beat Hood 123-116.
 

Top Finishes
 
Hazen Stowell (West Jordan, Utah/Riverton) had a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, and second place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley. 

Ike Brittingham
finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke, and second in the 200-yard breaststroke. 

Russell Odor (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) added a second-place finish in the
100-yard butterfly.
