READING, Pa.- Hood College had an impressive day in the pool with swimmers coming in first in 6 out of 11 events, as the Blazers defeated Albright 115-36 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth meet.
Top Finishers
Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) won the 100-yard freestyle with a final time of 50.71, and placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (23.19).
Hank Machen (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 11:21.5.
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) placed first in the 200 Yard IM clocking in at 2:13.63.
Ike Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) picked up wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:48.86 ) and placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:14.77).
Hood had the top finish in the 200-yard medley relay as Brittingham,
Hazen Stowell (West Jordan, Utah/Riverton),
James Martinez (New Market, Md./Linganore)-Solis and
Zander Kirchner (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) finished in 1:48.86.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Chance, Machen, Ethen Hubble and
Ben Foster (Lexington, Md./Homeschooled) also earned first with a 1:37.29 final time.
Odor added a second-place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:31.20.
Hubble finished second in the 200-Yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.13.
Notes
Hood improves to 2-3 (1-3) on the season, while Albright falls to 0-3 (0-2).
