4x200 relay team breaks school record at the AARTFC Championships


NEW YORK CITY - Hood College's 4x200 relay team broke the school record at the AARTFC championship meet at the NYC Armory.
  
Record Breaker
  • The 4x200-meter relay team of Jamel Mins (Columbia, Md./Atholton), Evan Ellington (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti), Rell Asamoah (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and Tofunmi Okuseinde (Baltimore, Md./Parkville) ran a time of 1:31.55, placing in the event. The time cut just over two seconds from the record of 1:33.60 that was set a couple of weeks back.  
Notes 
  • The Blazers finished tied for 42nd place overall. 
  • SUNY Geneseo won the AARTFC Championships with a total score of 72.

  • The Blazers are back in action on Friday, Mar. 24 to kick off the outdoor season at the Blue & Gold Classic at Goucher College.
