GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the Falcons of Messiah University in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.
Singles
- Katie Cautero (Hackettstown, N.J./Lenape Valley) won the first set 6-4, but ultimately fell to Kasi Conjack in three sets 6-4 and 12-10 in first singles.
- Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) lost at second singles to Kylie Walker 6-1, 6-1.
Doubles
- The closest call came in first doubles. Katie Cautero (Hackettstown, N.J./Lenape Valley) and Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) fell to Conjack and Isabella Heckman 8-4 at No. 2. Lauren Sheffler (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) and Cori Mark (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) lost to Walker and Rebekah Sheaffer by a score of 8-1.
