Box Score READING, Pa. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell 8-1 at Alvernia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action. 

Singles

• Ridley Little (Bristol, Va./Virginia) won at fifth singles for the Blazers' only point. She was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Maria Brisita. 
• Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) won the first set at No. 2 before falling to Lily Summerson 4-6, 6-4, 10-3.

Doubles

• The Golden Wolves won both contested doubles matches by 8-3 scores.
