ST. MARY'S COUNTY, Md. - The women's tennis squad traveled to St. Mary's for their final fall match and fell with a score of 5-2.
Doubles
The Blazers would go empty handed in doubles play as duo Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and Ava Wilson () fall in a close No. 1 doubles match 6-4 while Natalie Mackie (Elkton, Md./Elkton) and Samantha Huffer (Lovettsville, Va./Woodgrove) can't escape at No.2 with a score of 6-3.
Singles
Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) got the job done in No. 1 singles with scores of 6-2, 6-2.
Ava Wilson () found her first test of the fall against the Seahawks' Giselle Harris with the first two sets going 6-2 in her favor but 7-5 in favor of Harris. In the deciding third set Wilson strutted a 6-2 final to earn the point.
