GLASSBORO, N.J. - The Hood College men's track and field team placed fifth a the Oscar Moore Invitational, hosted by Rowan University. 

On the Track

• The Blazers' 4x400-meter relay team finished fourth. Jamel Mins (Columbia, Md./Atholton), Evan Ellington (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti), Chris Sappe (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) and Owen Ellington (Laurel, Md./Gonzaga College) teamed up for a time of 3:31.92, which ranks third all-time at Hood. 
• Owen Ellington (Laurel, Md./Gonzaga College) was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.24. 
• Evan Ellington (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) turned in a time of 22.52 in the 200-meter dash to place seventh and moved into third in the Blazers' program history.
• Sappe ran the seventh-place time of 52.03 in the 400 and ranks fifth all-time at Hood. 
• Grayson Whitesell's (Myersville, Md./Middletown) 10:18.24 was seventh in the 3,000-meter run. 
• In the 100-meter dash, Tofunmi Okuseinde (Baltimore, Md./Parkville) ran a time of 11.41 and was 10th in the preliminaries. 

In the Field

• Dustin Miller (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) was second in the hammer with a heave of 39.31 meters (129-0). He was also eighth in the shot put with a mark of 11.20m (36-9) and 10th in the discus at 34.70m (113-10). 
• In the javelin, Ryan Leonardi (Bowie, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) was ninth with a throw of 45.50m (149-3). It put him third all-time at Hood. He was also fourth in the hammer at 29.66m (97-4).

Team Scoring 

• Hood was fifth with 32 points. 
• Rowan defended its home track for the win with 236.
