FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's volleyball team defeated Goucher in straight sets to sweep the Gophers 3-0.

How it Happened
Hood trailed 6-2 in the first set before three kills by Wright sparked a 9-3 surge to give the Blazers the lead. Hood never trailed again in the set to go up 1-0.
A 9-2 run in the second set gave Hood a 13-5 lead. The Blazers led by as many as 12, when an
Olivia Todd (Charlotte, N.C./Cox Mill) kill made it 23-11.
Hood led 11-8 in the third set before Ofoegbu had two kills and two aces during a 10-3 run that gave the Blazers a 21-11 lead.
For the Opponent
Kailee Turner led the Gophers with 15 kills.
Madison Amaya finished with team-leading 18 assists and 10 digs.
