Women’s soccer drops tight contest to PSHU

Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - An early second-half goal proved to be the deciding factor as the Hood College women's soccer team fell to Penn St. Harrisburg 1-0.

Brenna Ellenberger (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) finished the night with five saves. 

How it Happened 
After a tightly contested first half, Kyla Brossoit took advantage of a rebound in front of the net in the 57th minute to put away what would end up being the only goal of the match. 

Hood's best chance to level the score came late in the match, but a strike by Kaelyn Kobosko (Middletown, Del./Middletown) was just wide of the top corner.  

Analysis 
The Blazers outshot the Nittany Lions 12-10. 

Hood had a 4-2 edge in corners. 

For the Opponent 
Kylee Altland assisted on the lone goal. 

Sydney Mulka made four saves in the shutout.
