How it Happened – Lancaster Bible
The Blazers came up just short in their comeback bid in the first set after going on a 6-1 run to make the score 24-23 before the Chargers won the next point with a kill from Chloe King.
Hood took advantage of 14 Lancaster Bible attack errors in the second set to even the match at 1-1.
The Chargers bounced back with an offensive outburst in the third set, which saw them go on a 7-2 run ending with back-to-back aces from Faith Hammond.
Ashley Donald (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro) finished off a 13-6 start to the fourth set with three aces in a row, but the Chargers tied the game at 16-16 before scoring 14 of the set's next 16 points to close out the match.
How it Happened – Lebanon Valley
After a tightly contested start to the first set, Lebanon Valley used three aces in a row from Kasey Thomas to spark a 7-0 run and take a 19-12 lead, eventually taking the set.
The Flying Dutchmen finished the second set with an 11-1 run, with Taylor McInerney ending the set with one of her 20 kills in the match.
The Blazers were unable to take advantage of early Lebanon Valley attack errors, and a kill from Lyla Arfanella would win the match for the Flying Dutchmen.
