FREDERICK, Md. - Two goals by Eastern Mennonite midway through the second half proved too much to overcome as the Hood College men's soccer team fell 2-0 in non-conference action.

Humphries made four saves in the first half to keep the score level at 0-0 heading into half.
EMU got onto the board twice in a six-minute span in the second half. Ariel Bonilla sent a corner to the far side where Ford Devault struck it into the net for a 1-0 lead. Six minutes later, the Royals were awarded a penalty kick and Yan Cesar converted for a 2-0 lead.
