FREDERICK, Md. – The women's tennis had success in their top singles and doubles matchups in their rescheduled match against McDaniel on Friday afternoon and took down the Green Terror with a score of 4-3.
Doubles
The women's team has entered the chat this fall a new No.1 doubles duo of returner
Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora)
and first-year
Ava Wilson () and took down McDaniel's No. 1 with a score of 6-4.
Natalie Mackie (Elkton, Md./Elkton) and
Samantha Huffer (Lovettsville, Va./Woodgrove) continued to show improvement and took down their opponent in No. 2 doubles with a score of 6-3.
Singles
Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) shut the door on No. 1 singles with her powerful serve with scores of 6-0, 6-1.
Ava Wilson () had a clean slate of 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles to continue her impressive fall campaign.
Natalie Mackie (Elkton, Md./Elkton) allowed only one point on her court in a win of 6-1, 6-0.
