HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. – The men's golf team finishes ninth at the 36-hole Battle at Bulle Rock hosted by Alvernia University at the Bulle Rock Golf Course on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
On the Scorecards
Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) leads the Blazers with a 23
rd place finish with three birdies on Tuesday's 79 along with nine pars. Round two consisted of a birdie on Hole 12 and an 83.
Mac Arida (Gambrills, Md./Crofton) falls two strokes behind Hood's leader shooting a 164 good enough to tie for 26
th. A birdie on both days of the tournament highlighted his 81 and 83.
Nathan Leppo (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) followed in 30
th with a 165 on the weekend.
Caleb Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) made a birdie on Hole 17 on his first day 91 as he would round out the Blazers in 42
nd.
On the Leaderboard
Christopher Newport shot 14 strokes better than second place Albright to take team scores with a cool 297 on the first day to push them into day 2.
Peyton Mussina of Penn College led the pack in individuals with a solid 142.
Hood finishes 9
th out of 11 participating teams.
