LEBANON, Pa. -
Nathan Leppo (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) ties for second in individuals as the Blazers boast a first place finish at the Lancaster Bible College 36-Hole Fall Invitational at the Lebanon Valley Country Club after the 36-hole tournament on Sunday and Monday afternoons.
On the Scorecards
Leppo tied his season low with a 75 on the first day after earning four birdies and a par within Hole 13 through 18 to get a whiff of the podium after the first 18. Leppo then shot 11 pars and a pair of birdies on the second round scorecard to lock in a spot tied for second in the pack.
Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) finished fifth by going without a bogey from Hole 4 to Hole 10 along with two birdies in his first round to finish with a 76. His second day 76 with a birdie on both the front and back nine put him at 152 remaining in the Top 5.
Caleb Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) scored a 36-hole best 160 and had a 10
th place finish with birdies on Hole 14, 17 and 18 on the second day to finish with a solid personal 18-hole best 79 for Hood.
Kyle Roddy (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) and
Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) both finished tied for 12
th with a 164. Leonard finishes even on the back nine to finish strong in the tournament. Roddy finished with 40 or lower at the turn in both rounds.
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) finishes just inside the Top 20 at 19
th with three birdies on his second day after his first par consistent day.
Evan Oglesby (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) and
Cameron Swan (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) finish inside the Top 30 at tied for 27
th and 29
th respectively. Oglesby sported two birdies on each day of the tournament and his pair of 86's are his 18-hole best and the 174 is his 36-hole best. Swan's 83 on the first 18 holes is his collegiate best in his young career.
Mac Arida (Gambrills, Md./Crofton) finishes with a 178 good enough for 35
th while
Adam Barnhart () rounded out the Blazers at 38
th.
On the Leaderboard
Gavin Fegley of Penn State Harrisburg beat out Leppo by one stroke on the day shooting a 153 and nine over par.
Hood wins the invitational with a 36-hole 641 score, eight strokes ahead of the Nittany Lions of Penn State Harrisburg.
