How it Happened
The Blazer offensive opportunities were found in 50-50 balls skied high into the box but couldn't find connections as the attack went a long way to get to the ball.

The second half was filled with bruises and bumps as chains of successful passes would end in collusion at midfield.
Hood defensemen
Landon Norcross (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon),
Jonathan Fuentes (Hagerstown, Md./Oakdale) and
Jackson Quenzer (Westminster, Md./Gerstell Academy) continued to neutralize attack with successful clears that drove the ball into the night sky.
With 20 minutes to go, a free kick from Heffner after a yellow card found a leaping Polio that redirected to
Ange Simo (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) for his header to be stopped by the keeper.
Drama filled the final minute of the match as
Evan Miller (Dover, Pa./Dover) put a shot up that landed right above the crossbar after slipping out of the goalkeeper's hands. This created a corner kick and some pinball action before the Mustangs' goalie made the save of the night on Polio's last attempt to shut the door.
