DALLAS, Pa. - The Hood College men's swimming team came up just short in its meet against Misericordia, falling 150-104.
Top Finishes
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) took second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a 1:01.16, and third in the 100-yard freestyle with 52.89.
Isiah Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) won the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke races, touching the wall at 1:01.00 and 2:21.48, respectively.
Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) and
Chris Krol (Ellicott City, Md./Homeschooled) finished first and second in the 200-yard butterfly, with Hubble winning with his time of 2:10.3, and Krol finishing shortly after at 2:16.12.
Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) got the gold in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing almost a full second ahead of the next finisher with a 23.47.
Hubble also ran away with the 500-yard freestyle, taking first place in a cool 5:27.72.
Ben Foster (Lexington, Md./Homeschooled) finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a 1:01.15.
Krol grabbed silver in the 400-yard IM, finishing the event in 4:51.14.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Fuller, Brittingham, Chance, and Hubble won the event with a combined time of 1:34.17.
