DALLAS, Pa. – The Hood College men's volleyball team dropped two matchups on the road against Misericordia and Mount Aloysius with final scores of 3-1 and 3-0. 
Set Scores  
Misericordia took match one in three sets. 25-11, 25-11, and 25-22.  
Mount Aloysius took match two in four sets, 25-16, 25-18, and 25-16. 
Inside the Box Score   
Charles Casas (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Cape Henlopen High School) ended the day with 22 kills and 14 digs. 
Cameron Nugent (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) had 35 assists, 24 in match two against the Mounties. 
Sean Seely (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage High School) had 10 kills and 10 digs in match two against the Mounties. 
How it Happened – Misericordia 
In the first set, Charles Casas (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Cape Henlopen High School) had 3 kills to lead the Blazers. 
In set two, Dan Blanchfield (Cambridge, N.Y./Cambridge Central) had a service ace and a kill to keep the Blazers in the fight. 
In set three, Cameron Nugent (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) set the tone with back-to-back service aces to put the Blazers up 2-0. Later in the set Casas had three straight points for Hood via the kill to take the lead 8-7. Shaun Freeman (Chespeake, Va./Kings Fork High School) from the Cougars created some issues for the Blazers and Casas' 9 kills in this match was not enough and Hood fell 25-22. 
How it Happened – Mount Aloysius 
In the first set, Seely went to work with multiple kills and a service ace for the Blazers. 
In the second set, four different Blazers tallied a kill in Blanchfield, Casas, Seely, and Brendan Stutz (Frederick, Md./Oakdale). Misercordia's Andrew Wlodarczyk overpowered Hood but the Blazers held up and stole the set to even at 1-1.  
In the third set, Hood took a 5-1 lead after taking advantage of Mounties' errors. Will Fitch (Upper Marlboro, Md./Frederick Douglass) had three crucial kills to keep the Blazers in the fight, but the Mounties went on a 7-2 run to lead in sets 2-1.  
The fourth set was Tayshaun Johnson's of Mount Aloysius and late kills by Seely and Casas fell short as the Mounties took set four and the final of 3-1.
