HAMPSTEAD, Md. - Sam Driscoll (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) shoots a program-low at the Piney Branch Golf Club as the Men's Golf team finishes fifth in the Stevenson Spring Invitational.
On the Scorecards
Sam Driscoll (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) shot a 70 on the round and finished –1. Driscoll started hot with birdies on five of the first six holes.
Nathan Leppo's (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) 76 was good for 10th , three birdies early in the round pushed him to the finish.
Tanner Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) followed with a 79 just sneaking into the Top 25.
Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot an 83 with a birdie right out the gate on Hole 1.
Brandon Brooks (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) shot a 90 to round out the squad.
On the Leaderboard

Stevenson's Sean Dowd shot a sweet 68 at –3 to take the top spot in individuals.

Goucher College pulled out a one stroke lead over Stevenson to take team scores at 295.

Hood finished fifth out of eleven teams with a 308. Only one stroke behind Catholic and 13 strokes behind Goucher.
