HUNTINGDON, PA - The Hood College men's soccer team's late offensive efforts were not enough against Juniata College in 3-1 final.

How it Happened
After the first 17 minutes and 45 seconds of play Juniata would take the lead over Hood after a goal from Jayden Gaynor assisted by Nathan Weick. Going into halftime the scoreboard read 1-0 in favor of the Eagles.
Juniata would take over early in the second half with back-to-back goals from Weick and Gavin Rauhut in the 47th and 48th minute of the match. With hopes of bringing the Blazers back in the game Gislon took a strike off an assist from Vassallo make it 3-1. Unfortunately for the Blazers time would not be in their favor as the final buzzer sounded the Eagles led 3-1.
Analysis
Juniata held the advantage in shots 20-6 and 9-4 in corners over Hood.
For the Opponent
Gaynor, Weick, and Rauhut all scored once for the Eagles. Weick, Rauhut and Brandon Marzula each notched an assist in the match.
Maxwell Mattioni recorded two saves in goal.
