FREDERICK, Md. – Good play by Hood defensemen keep the high scoring Phoenix off of the score sheet as the Blazers earn their third draw of the season at a 0-0 score on Tuesday night.

The Phoenix with three top goal scorers in their conference on their offense presented a challenge for a defensive squad in the Blazers.
 
Wilson on trying to lead passes on the far side of the field but speedy Blazer backs were able to cutoff solid attempts along with solid play at midfield by McKenna Bishop (Johnson City, Tenn./Mount Hebron (Md.)) to prevent pressure.
 
Alli House (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Beach) found an opportunity at some offense as her shot on the edge of the box hit right off the crossbar with minutes to spare in the first half.
 
In 50' Adrianna Escobar (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) backed down her defender creating another opportunity for a charging House and her shot again just off the mark.
 
Wilson started to take good shots off of free kicks just outside of the box, Wilson's Maddy Miller had two that were denied by an outstretched Ellenberger.
