How it Happened

The physicality in this defensive battle only picked up as time went on. Seniors Priya Nair (Falls Church, Va./George C. Marshall) and Alli House (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Beach) had the crowd on the edge of their seats with each of their shots coming at the end of two good team attacks. Ellenberger added to an impressive week with a save on the Shorewomen's lone penalty shot.
