Box Score FREDERICK, Md. – The Hood College women's soccer team celebrated homecoming as the team fell to Eastern University 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
Within the opening 13 minutes Molly Scheellper notched the first goal of the match for the Eagles. Later in the half the Blazers had an attempt as a counterattack as
Jen Vasquez (Westminster, Md./Westminster) took a strike in front of the Eastern goal, but Faith Leake was able to corral the ball.
Hood had more offensive looks in the second half as the team had a total of six corner kicks. Unfortunately for the Blazers the five shots in the half were not able to fall. With little time left in regulation the Eagles struck again as Sofia Puleo received a pass from Paige Snell and found the back of the net to put Eastern up 2-0 on the Blazers.
Analysis
Eastern topped Hood in shots 9-6.
The Blazers were ahead in corner kicks 8-2.
