BURTONSVILLE, Md. - On Sunday, October 5th the Hood College equestrian team started their season at a show hosted by American University at The Other Left Stables.
At the Show
First-year Maria DiPierro (Cochranville, PA/Junior Flyers) started the day off placing fifth on AU's Theo in Intermediate Fences and placed fifth on AU's Ringo in Limit Flat.

Senior Brooke Weadon (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) placed fifth in Intermediate Fences on AU's Cass and placed sixth in Limit Flat on AU's Bobby.
Sophomore Sarah Wauls (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) placed third in Limit Fences on AU's Theo and fourth in Intermediate Flat on AU's Bobby.
Junior Delmy Veziroglu (Lake Worth, Fla./Park Vista Community) placed fourth in Novice Flat on AU's Phish.
Sophomore Angelina Sotela (Frederick, Md./Frederick) placed fourth in Novice Flat on AU's Mango.
And finally, Sophomore, Reagan Ochoa (Rohrersville, Md./Barbara Ingram School for the Arts) finished the day winning her debut in the Novice division on AU's Butters.
