CHEVY CHASE, Md. - On Sunday, November 9th, the equestrian team competed at a show hosted by University of Maryland at Meadowbrook Stables i.
At the Show
Sophomore Sarah Wauls (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) started off the day placing third in her Limit Fences class on UMD's Jesse and she placed second on UMD's Bolero in Intermediate Flat.
Senior Brooke Weadon (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) placed sixth on UMD's Temple in her debut Intermediate Flat class and had a respectable ride on UMD's Chester in Intermediate Fences.
First-year Maria DiPierro (Cochranville, PA/Junior Flyers) placed fifth in Intermediate Fences on UMD's Henry and fifth in Limit Flat on UMD's Chester.
Junior Delmy Veziroglu (Lake Worth, Fla./Park Vista Community) placed sixth on UMD's Olive in her Limit Flat debut.
Sophomore Angelina Sotela (Frederick, Md./Frederick) placed fourth in Novice Flat on UMD's Jackson.
Sophomore Reagan Ochoa (Rohrersville, Md./Barbara Ingram School for the Arts) placed third in Novice Flat on UMD's Edward.
Sophomore Emily Piersall () placed second on UMD's Whiskey in Pre-Novice Flat.
And finally, Emilia Alcala-Torrez (Washington, D.C./Jackson-Reed) finished off the day placing fourth on UMD's Jackson in her debut Pre-Novice class.
