Brittingham secures two medals as Men's Swimming competes at MAC Championships

YORK, Pa. –  The men's swimming team competed in the Middle Atlantic Commonwealth finals from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 16 and were spotlighted by Isiah Brittingham's (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) silver and bronze finishes on the day. Hood as a team placed 7th out of the 11 teams competing with 517 points.
 
Top Individual Finishes
Isiah Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) captured the day with his 100-yard breaststroke performance of 57.26 to earn 2nd place on the podium. Later Brittingham would follow with a 2:11.30 time to take the bronze in the 200-yard breaststroke,
In the 100-yard butterfly Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) timed a 53.36 to place 10th on the day.
Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) in the 100-yard freestyle earned a 49.22 time to take 10th place as well.
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) places 11th in 50-yard free style with a 22.22.
 
Top Relay Finishes
The highest  finish in the relay on the weekend was 200-yard freestyle relay team of Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn), Jacob Hauff (Nazareth, Pa./Pen Argyl Area), Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood), Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) who swam a 1:29.51 good enough for 5th place.
The 400-yard medley relay team Jacob Hauff (Nazareth, Pa./Pen Argyl Area), Isiah Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central), Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown), Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) worked a 3:39.82 for 6th place.
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn), Isiah Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central), Jacob Hauff (Nazareth, Pa./Pen Argyl Area), and Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) swam a combined 1:39.33 in the 200-yard medley relay to place 6th as well.
 
Leaderboard
Stevens took the team championship by over 400 points with a score of 1589.5.
