CHEVY CHASE, Md - Four members of the Hood College Equestrian Team competed in the Zone 4 Region 1 Regional Competition, hosted by the University of Maryland at Meadowbrook Stables.
Junior
Brooke Weadon (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) had a lovely round on UMD's Henry placing 4
th in a competitive class of 9 in Limit Fences.
First-Year
Sarah Wauls (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) put in a solid ride on both UMD's Charm and a re-ride on UMD's Q in a highly competitive class of 10. Wauls was Reserve Champion of Limit Flat and Zone Qualifier.
Junior
Amanda Bruner (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) had a great ride on UMD's Doodlebug cinching the win and was Champion of Intermediate Flat and Zone Qualifier.
Senior Abigial Burns had a respectable ride on UMD's Simon in Novice Flat ending her collegiate career on a high note.Â
Wauls and Bruner will be advancing onto Zones at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA on April 5th.Â
