Mary Washington looked to take the lead early into the first half with a shot that was saved by Stine as she was able to just tip it off the crossbar, but the Eagles shortly after would fire off a long shot from the goal that was just out of the reach of Stine to give Mary Washington the 1-0 lead..
The Blazers defense stayed steady after the early goal by the Eagles and looked to regroup going into the second half.
The Eagles would cross the ball looking for their second goal that was out of reach of the intended attacker, but ended up falling on the foot of Cassidy Shaw as Mary Washington extended its lead 2-0, which would be where it stood as the final buzzer sounded
