READING, Pa. – The Hood College women's track & field team delivered several strong performances Saturday at the PLEX Shootout, hosted by Alvernia University. Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) breaks a indoor 3000m record while securing first place while the women's medley relay captures second.

Senior Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) highlighted the day for the Blazers with a first-place finish in the 3000 meters, winning the event in 10:32.57.
First-year Maya Carey followed with an eighth-place finish in the same event, crossing the line in 11:30.17.
Hood's distance medley relay of Carey, Tianna White (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake), Amber Marshall (), and Noy turned in a strong showing, finishing second overall with a time of 13:40.87.
