FAIRFAX, Va. — Hood College Women's Track & Field delivered a trio of Top 5 performances and more at the Father Diamond Invitational hosted by George Mason on Friday afternoon.
Top Times
In the mile run, the squad had three runners in the Top 10 starting with
Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) with a 2nd-place finish in 5:19.87, continuing her positive tone this spring.
Maya Carey followed just behind and placed 3rd, running 5:43.12 and
Amber Marshall () rounded out the trio in 7th, finishing in 6:05.85.
Hood opened the day with competitive showings in the 400m as
Tianna White (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake) clocked a 1:08.75, earning a top-10 finish while
Megan Pezenosky (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) followed in 1:10.49, finishing just behind her teammate.
In the Field
Kindal Davis (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland) returned to the circle with another strong performance in the weighted toss placing 5th with an impressive toss of 11.74m (38-06.25). Davis earned a 7th-place finish in the shot put, throwing 6.29m (20-07.75).
