TOWSON, Md. - The Hood College Equestrian team opened their spring season at Goucher College.

At the Show
 
First-Year Maria DiPierro (Cochranville, PA/Junior Flyers) started the day off placing sixth in Intermediate Fences with TU's Joe and fourth in Limit Flat on GC's Paddy.
  
Sophomore Sarah Wauls (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) placed sixth in Limit Fences on GC's Sailor and fourth in Intermediate Flat on GC's Gerry.
 
Junior Delmy Velziroglu placed sixth in Limit Flat on GC's Theodore.
 
Sophomore Reagan Ochoa (Rohrersville, Md./Barbara Ingram School for the Arts) placed sixth in Limit Flat on GC's Dandy after receiving a re-ride from GC's Gerry.

Sophomore Angelina Sotela (Frederick, Md./Frederick) placed fourth in Novice Flat on Hood's Flower.

And finally, First-Year Emily Piersall () placed third in Pre-Novice on Hood's Jameson.

Hood horses, Fiona, Flower and Jameson were excellent representations of the college and provided many great rides throughout the day.

The next competition will be March 7^th at Goucher College and March 8^th at University of Maryland.
