How it Happened
Despite starting the match down 5-2, Hood went on a decent run to keep pace with Arcadia and cut the deficit to just 7-6, but the Knights took eight of the next 10 points to widen the gap. That gap eventually reached double digits with the Blazers down 20-10, and despite a late 4-1 run thanks to a pair of kills from Casas, Hood found itself down 1-0 in the match.
Set two started with Arcadia going on an 8-2 run and did not look back, maintaining that lead at 15-7 before stretching to as much as 12 when they made it a 21-9 game and eventually closing out the set.
The Blazers got off to a much better start in the third set, taking their first lead of the game 3-1 with more kills from Casas. The Knights were seemingly unfazed by Hood's attack though, quickly retaking the lead with a 12-3 run. The Blazers were able to counter and make it a 13-9 game, but after some back-and-forth rallies, a 5-1 run from Arcadia got it within three points of the sweep. Four straight from Hood kept the comeback dream alive, but the Knights were able to take three of the next four points and hand the Blazers a 3-0 loss.
For the Opponent
Tucker Curtis and Reece Dodd both had seven kills.
Roliey Kodideck finished with 14 assists.
