KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Hood College women's golf team finished third overall at the 2026 MAC Women's Golf Championship hosted at the Berkleigh Golf Club carding a two-day total of 758 taking the spot by over 30 strokes.
On the Scorecards
Gabi Miller (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville) the senior paced the Blazers, finishing 14th individually with a two-round total of 180. She opened the tournament with an 89 and followed with a consistent 91 in round two. Miller led all Hood players with 11 pars across the championship and added a birdie on Hole 17 in her second round.
Mia Cheesebrough (Mendota Heights, Mn./Two Rivers/St. Paul Riveters) placed 16th overall, finishing at 186 after rounds of 92 and 94. She recorded eight pars across the two days.
Keira Corcoran (Queenstown, Md./Queen Anne's County) finished 20th individually with a two-day total of 192. She opened strong with a 90 in round one before carding a 102 in round two.
Sophia Stultz (Elk Township, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy Academy) finished just inside the Top 25, posting rounds of 95 and 105. She recorded six pars and was a highlight performer for the Blazers, finishing with two birdies both her first round.
Hayden Avery (Greenwood, Del./Woodbridge) rounded out the Hood lineup and improved her score from 117 in round one to 113 in round two.
On the Leaderboard
York College of Pennsylvania took the MAC Championship with a score of 653, 50 strokes ahead of second place Stevenson.
Victoria Jolakian of the Spartans took the individual championship with 159 (+9)
Hood finished ahead of seven conference opponents, securing a podium finish at the MAC Championship.
